Oops! The open borders crowd might find this statistic a bit inconvenient:

In 2007, 50 percent of Latinos surveyed told the Pew Hispanic Center that the growing number of illegal immigrants was a positive force for the existing Latino population. In a Pew survey released Thursday, that number had plummeted to 29 percent.

Despite the gravity of the unemployment problem, there has been almost zero discussion in the Main Stream Media of the role of immigration policy in how we got here—and how changes in immigration policy could help get us out of this jam…

American public debate is so stultified by this immigration omerta that a couple of allusions to immigration over 10,000 words might be considered progress toward a new era of intellectual realism.

For those of you whose primary political interest is stopping the growth of government or even shrinking it, you have to contend with national leaders who say they agree with you but who refuse to deal with immigration. They say immigration is a “social” issue that isn’t related to government spending and deficit issues. They couldn’t be more wrong… .

The French thinker Guillaume Faye denounced in his polemical book, LA COLONISATION DE L’EUROPE the risk of Islamization and and even the the ethnic & cultural annihilation of Europe if nothing stops the current immigration flux. To which leading pan-European visionary Kai Murros replied:

This avalanche of our inferiors must be stopped at any cost using any means possible. In time we will be forced to wage merciless war in order to save Europe. We must not let compassion or mercy lead us astray, we must not allow humanism to lower our guard and we must never allow spineless liberalism weaken our defenses.”

Recent months have seen an uptick in violence between the rival motorcycle gangs — particularly in Berlin, the northern state of Schleswig-Holstein and eastern Germany. And the attacks have been escalating, from knife assaults to shootings to explosives. The reason: the Bandidos have managed to recruit hundreds of young men, many of them from immigrant families in Germany’s east, and put the Hell’s Angels on the defensive…

Its members have repeatedly made savage attacks on rivals in the Hell’s Angels camp, which has close ties to the far-right fan club of a local football club. Indeed, one newspaper article recently reported that the Hell’s Angels in Berlin refuse to allow foreigners into their ranks.

...more than just a Third World thing:

Overpopulation was a big liberal cause back in the 1970s; it isn’t today. Why? Not just Zero Population Growth, but Negative Population Growth has been achieved in much of the West. It’s particularly acute in Europe. But it hasn’t gone away in the Third World. In fact, it’s gotten worse which is why the Third World masses are not staying put but are on the go.

That’s the rub. The Cult of Political Correctness has a death grip on thinking in the West. It’s gone from being a mental strait-jacket to a veritable & real Death Cult. You see, because overpopulation is on steroids in the Third World, it can no longer be mentioned.

Hispanics have not been such a boon to the Roman Catholic Church after all…

I naturally disagree with her point concerning North America (how about Quebec, the American South, Newfoundland?) but everything else is mostly spot on.-

Concentrated mass immigration is no good for anyone, and in lieu of creating a multi-cultural society, creates one that stands to be divided. German culture, or exchangably any other country with a strong national spirit, really does sacrifice its culture at the expense of being dominated by another with a strong national spirit.

Eric Besson had great latitude. Under the falsely critical eye of Arlette Chabot (the moderator of the debate) he had 50 minutes, with no opposition, to develop his conception of French identity. He repeated the formula he had used on January 5: “France is not a people, or a language, or a territory, or a religion, it is a conglomerate of peoples who want to live together. There is no ethnic Frenchman. There is only an ethnically mixed France” (“une France du métissage”).

At no point in the discussion did Marine Le Pen deny his allegations. She gave him a free rein, and chose to avoid a confrontation on the essential question. She even backed off when Arlette Chabot attempted to utter the words of General de Gaulle: “We are, after all, a European people of the white race, of Greek and Latin culture and of the Christian religion.” Marine Le Pen, horrified, clearly refused to concur with this definition. Is the tyranny of anti-racism then so powerful that at the mere mention of what de Gaulle said, the daughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen runs for cover?

The police in the Norwegian capital Oslo revealed that 2009 set yet another record: compared to 2008, there were twice as many cases of assault rapes. In each and every case, not only in 2008 and 2009 but also in 2007, the offender was a non-Western immigrant. At the same time, in 9 out of 10 cases, the victim was Norwegian, not just by nationality, but also by ethnicity.
